PRIVATE PAY
Not An Option?

Speech for All Seasons can provide a *superbill for you to provide your insurance provider, but is unable to contact your insurance directly.

SLP Evaluations and Treatments are also eligible for reimbursement with most Health Savings Accounts (HSA's), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA's), and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA's).

*Superbill: A superbill is a detailed document that allows you to request reimbursement from your insurance company directly.

It includes information similar to an insurance claim form (dates of services provided, procedure codes, balance paid).

SELF-PAY CLIENT NOTICE

If you are paying out-of-pocket for your care, you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate outlining the anticipated cost of your services. Under federal law, healthcare providers must give individuals without insurance (or those choosing not to use insurance) a clear estimate of charges for medical services and items.

Your rights include:

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
